This is a really cool web site.  Just located it, and it will be a good source for the consumer.  I was once a dealer for a log home company, many moons ago.  I noticed the head of the dealers, for that company, now works with KBLH.  His name is Jock D.  The reason I am bringing this up is because I was recently reading the log home magazines, and notice KBLH are going to have a national open house.  Well that's the same sales tatic he used with this other company.  Other sales tatics will be, free windows with your package if you take delivery before a certain date with 10 percent down, or sign by this date, and we will cut some delivery cost, etc...  What he won't tell you, is these deals come out of dealer's pockets, through their commissions.  So instead of your 15 percent commission, you the dealer takes 10 percent.  So essentially, It don't cost him or the company anything, but cost the dealer! So he looks good all the way around!  My better half always said, Jock should of been a tv evangelist.  He could sell you a bucket of horse poop, and you would be glad to get it!    Oh and his real name is John!  Why he uses the name Jock I'll never know, John is a nice name!

Lets try 12 % discount, and free appliances!  Now that will sell those homes!!!  In my area there is a 2500 sq ft. KBLH on 5.4 acres, with a pond with a dock,, shelter, outbuildings, wrap around porch, full finished walk out basement, all sitting empty.  It is in foreclosure, and the asking price is $229,000.00.  There are deals like this all across the USA.  You couldn't build this house for that amount, probably is why its in foreclosure! (overspending  on the construction budget)
